According to the grant proposal, the funds will be used to install a dedicated electrical circuit and purchase equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located at the Fluvanna County Community Center in Fork Union, the kitchen can be rented by food producers who need a fully licensed facility for preparation of foods for sale to consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The facility includes a six-burner commercial stove, a stainless steel prep line, ovens, and commercial-grade refrigerators and freezers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2024, the Board of Supervisors voted to reduce the rental fees to $25 per hour for residents, and $30.25 for non-residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, visit https:\/\/www.fluvannacounty.org\/parksrec\/page\/commercial-kitchen-reservation-0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Heather MichonCorrespondent Fluvanna County\u2019s commercial kitchen has received a $7,400 grant from the Virginia Department of Agriculture\u2019s infrastructure program.
